About The Design
The Modular Stone Bench Planters are designed to be used in a variety of configurations and can be arranged to best suit your area. The End Planter is used to hold any size bench top, and can be used on either side of the bench. These accompanying pieces are purchased additionally to further customize your package. A fountain insert can also be purchased separately and installed into the planter. These planters are ideal for outdoor use, due to the weatherproof finish that will not peel when exposed to the elements.
About The Molding and Finishing Process
These sturdy, cast stone pieces are carefully handmade. First, a team hand pours the liquid cast stone mixture into the crafted mold and utilizes special techniques to remove the air bubbles, guaranteeing you a solid stone structure. The PSI (pounds per square inch) is measured to its optimum level to insure strength and durability in the stone. Once the stone is air dried and gone through an internal quality check, it is sent to the finishing department where seams are ground and any air holes caused by the pouring process are filled and smoothed. The patina finish is then applied and any excess is wiped away to highlight detail. It is this final step that allows each piece to become a unique and original work of garden art
