About The Design
The Modular benches and planters are designed to be used in a variety of configurations and can be arranged to best suit your area. This package includes two medium sized bench tops, a short bench top, a corner planter, a center planter an end planter, a bench leg, a modular planter and a fountain insert that can easily fit into any one of the modular planters. All pieces are interchangeable and can be installed a number of different ways. Additional pieces can also be purchased separately to further customize your package. This original design demonstrates a genuine understanding of garden art - especially texture, patina and the softening effects of age and weather. The weatherproof finish will not peel when exposed to the elements, thus allowing these tables to be ideal for use outdoors.
About The Molding and Finishing Process
These sturdy, cast stone pieces are created using a careful process. First, a team hand pours the liquid cast stone mixture into the crafted mold and utilizes special techniques to remove the air bubbles, guaranteeing you a solid stone structure. The PSI (pounds per square inch) is measured to its optimum level to insure strength and durability in the stone. Once the stone is air dried and gone through an internal quality check, it is sent to the finishing department where seams are ground and any air holes caused by the pouring process are filled and smoothed. It is the final step that allows each piece to become a unique and original work of garden art when the patina finish is applied and any excess is wiped away to highlight detail.
