The Curved Woodland Ferns Stone Bench will bring elegant style to your garden or landscape with its unique design. These beautiful cast stone benches are
100% hand made in the USA by expert artisans and craftsman.
Designed to last a lifetime, the cast stone benches are carefully molded for optimum strength and artistically finished in its natural color or one of our eight exclusive patinas which are designed to replicate the look of natural aging.
About The Design
The Woodland Ferns Stone Bench features an ornate design that will nicely compliment your garden. This original design demonstrates an intrinsic understanding of garden art - especially texture, patina and the softening effects of age and weather. The bench is molded by expert artisans to capture the detail and texture of the design, and then finished by hand using a multi-step process. The weatherproof finish will not peel when exposed to the elements, thus allowing these benches to be used outdoors as well as indoors.
About The Molding and Finishing Process
These durable, cast stone benches are completed by using a carefully supervised method. First, a team hand pours the liquid cast stone mixture into the crafted mold and utilizes special techniques to remove the air bubbles. The PSI (pounds per square inch) is measured to its best possible level to insure strength and durability in the stone. Once the stone is air dried and gone through an internal quality check, it is then sent to the finishing department where seams are ground and any air holes caused by the pouring process are filled and smoothed. Finally, the patina finish is applied by hand in a multi-step process. This allows every piece to become a unique and original work of garden art.
